Universal Studios is easy to get to by many forms of transport from Hollywood. Upon arrival we joined a Studio Tour narrated by the one and only Jimmy Fallon. The studio tour takes you behind the scenes to real working movie studios, you drive through four acres of historic studio lots experiencing sets from War of the Worlds, King Kong, Desperate Housewives, Psycho and Jaws just to name a few.
If you are more into rides, there is something for everyone from adrenaline pumping, thrill seeking rollercoasters to kiddie rides! The Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, Revenge of the Mummy and Transformers: The Ride 3D are rated highly. The traditional Jurassic Park ride was one of my favourites (I am a baby when it comes to rollercoasters! haha)
Other fun activities include the Special Effects Stage show, Universal's Animal Actors show and House of Horrors. Catch a Blues Brothers show and be sure to meet all your favourite characters throughout the park! They'll be more than happy to pose for some photos with you too!
Universal Studios is HUGE! Wear good walking shoes and take advantage of the hundreds of food outlets and shops both within the park or outside on the Universal City Walk.
I highly recommend a visit to Universal Studios, it's a fun day out for young, old, families, teenagers, locals and tourists alike! Check out my photos below for a few snaps of my adventures at the Studios.
