Miami’s South Beach is known for its sandy beaches, warm blue water, swaying palm trees, bright coloured umbrellas, deck chairs and lifeguard towers and beautiful, fit people.
Your visit to Miami would not be complete without a trip to South Beach. South Beach is a beautiful neighbourhood with bars, accommodation, clubs, restaurants and more (to come in future articles). Miami’s beaches are world famous and South Beach is no exception.
It’s sandy white beaches that stretch for miles and bright, colourful lifeguard towers that dominate the landscape are an attraction in themselves.
As an Australian, I am a beach baby. I love the beach, but have also been known to be critical of foreign beaches. This most likely stems from how spoilt we are back home for choice of beautiful beaches, waterways and climate. Miami and South Beach however, did not disappoint.
The temperature is hot, the sand is hot, the water is warm, and the people are hot. Everyone in Miami is beautiful. There are outdoor gyms along the esplanade and every few metres you will come across runners, swimmers, cyclists, rollerbladers all enjoying the great outdoors.
Whether you choose to rent yourself a deck chair or pull up a spot of sand, you will love your time spent on beautiful South Beach. Top your day off with a cocktail across the road from the beach following your dip, with countless restaurants and bars to choose from.
I guarantee you will have fun in the sun!
