A Romantic Stay at Hotel Santa Brigida Naples

We recently spent a night in Naples on our way to the Amalfi Coast and booked a night at Hotel Santa Brigida. Hotel Santa Brigida is a new design hotel in Naples that is ideally located in central Naples, has original and uniquely decorated rooms, is housed in a historical building and is a very quiet, romantic boutique hotel that was ideal for our stay.

Hotel Santa Brigida is located in the heart of Naples by Palazzo Reale and Teatro San Carlo and is less than a ten minute walk to the finest attractions of Naples including Castel Nuovo, the port and marina, the seafront, Piazza del Plebiscito, Naples' charming old town and the beautiful Castel dell'Ovo. It is also only a short walk to the Chiaia area which boasts many of Naples most luxurious boutiques and shops. The location of the hotel was one of the main selling points for us as we love staying in a very central location so that we can walk to most of the sites within the city.

Hotel Santa Brigida is a small, intimate boutique hotel which is located within an historic building in Naples which also hosts several other businesses. The hotel is located on the third floor of the building which means the hotel is not obvious from the street so you need to keep an eye out for the hotel's discreet sign on the front of the building. You also need to be aware that the location means you won't get the usual warm hotel welcome until you reach the third floor of the building in the lift. Once we stepped out of the lift and into the bright and stylish reception area we were warmly welcomed to the hotel by the friendly receptionist. The hotel also has a lounge and bar area which are very styled in a very contemporary fashion for guests to relax and enjoy.

All the rooms at Santa Brigida are decorated uniquely and we were staying in a deluxe double room which was contemporary, comfortable, modern and very unique! Our room had a very comfortable poster bed, an incredible hydromassage shower and chromotherapy bath tub. The room had a romantic ambiance with mood lighting and the bath tub located in the centre of the room. The room would be a great room for a romantic weekend away but just keep that in mind if you are a little shy that there's not a great deal of privacy in the room. Our room was spotlessly clean and the decor was stylish with subtle colours, contemporary artwork and quality furnishings.

Our room was also equipped with modern amenities such as a desk, tea and coffee facilities, a flatscreen TV, minibar and wireless internet. Unfortunately we only managed to connect to the internet for the first 10 minutes of our stay and couldn't get any of our devices to connect throughout the rest of our stay but as it was only for one night we managed.

One of our favourite aspects of our room was our gorgeous balcony which overlooked the bustling Napoli streets below! We had a fantastic view and it allowed beautiful natural light to pour into the room. Not long after we arrived we were also given a wonderful welcome drink which we enjoyed on our balcony. The doors to the balcony also blocked out most of the noise from the busy streets when they were shut ensuring we slept well.

Breakfast at Hotel Santa Brigida is a really interesting concept! The breakfast buffet consists of a selection of the finest specialities of Neapolitan food served in finger food portions, prepared using the highest quality ingredients. There was a great selection of sweet and savoury finger food choices as well as cold meats, cheeses, cereals, freshly baked breads and pastries along with tea and coffee. It was a really unique breakfast and very interesting to experience.

We loved the location of Hotel Santa Brigida which allowed us to explore the main sites of Naples during our fleeting visit in the city! Naples is a city of contrasts and really is a beautiful city. I'd had a bad experience there in the past but fell in love with it this time and you can read more about our time in Naples here.

We had a great evening at Hotel Santa Brigida in Naples. The hotel is a lovely, unique boutique hotel in an excellent location in the city that also has a romantic atmosphere. The room was very reasonably priced, we enjoyed the unique breakfast concept and the location really couldn't have been better!
