A Stylish Stay at MirO Studio Apartments in Dubrovnik

Regular readers will know that whilst we love indulging in luxury hotels whilst we travel we also love staying in apartments during longer trips. We've been on the road for just over two months now and whilst we wouldn't change a thing, we still find that we have the occasional craving for normality. We love the freedom, privacy and independence that apartments offer and we particularly love that we can cook for ourselves which not only saves money but means we can get some much needed healthy food into our bodies. MirO Studio Apartments are comprised of seven stylish, newly renovated and furnished modern studio apartments in Dubrovnik. We chose MirO because of their fantastic location only 20 metres from the sea and a few minutes walk from Pile Gate, the main entrance to the Old Town in Dubrovnik. Our apartment was fantastic, the staff were amazing and the location unbeatable which ensured we had an unforgettable stay in Dubrovnik.

Studio apartments can often feeling small and cramped but we felt that a lot of time and thought had gone into planning the layout and design of MirO Studio Apartments as they were very open, bright and felt quite spacious! Our living room contained two comfortable lounge chairs, a flat screen TV with DVD player and a dining table with chairs. The kitchen corner was stylish and well equipped with a refrigerator, oven/microwave, kettle and coffee machine and stove top. It was the perfect sized kitchen for Dan to whip up a masterchef worthy meal on the road! Our apartment also had free high speed wireless internet access which worked like a dream the whole time we were there!

The studio apartments have been cleverly designed and separated to give the feeling of two distinct living spaces. Our bedroom had a wall bed system which we kept down the whole time but it also allows for the extension of the living space if you put it up. There is also partition doors where you can further separate the loungeroom and bedroom. Our bed was lovely and comfortable and there was additional blankets in the cupboard in case we got cold. We didn't need the extra blankets but we did make full use of the air conditioning which was fantastic! It was really hot and humid during our stay and so we really appreciated the ice cold air conditioning and the studio has two units, one in the bedroom and one in the lounge room.

Our stylish, modern bathroom featured a large shower with separate toilet and was fitted with heated flooring, a hairdryer, fluffy towels, toiletries and a towel warmer. The apartments are also cleaned and serviced on a daily basis which we really appreciated as it is not usually a service you get with apartments when travelling.

The apartments have a fantastic location being only 20 metres from the sea in a quiet, authentic residential neighbourhood that is right next to the main entrance to Old Town Dubrovnik which is also known as Pile Gate. The location was fantastic as our street was lovely and quiet, it was wonderful how close we were to the sea and we were less than a minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. All the major tourist attractions, bars and restaurants are within a short walk of the apartments. When we booked our stay we knew that the apartments were close to the Old Town but we were very impressed with just how close it was! The location was truly unbeatable.

We loved our stay at MirO Studio Apartments in Dubrovnik. Our apartment was stylish, comfortable and very quickly felt like our home away from home in Dubrovnik. Everything we could have possibly wanted or needed to ensure our stay was provided and the lovely staff at MirO could not have been more friendly, helpful or welcoming. Every time we walked past reception we were always greeted with a smile and a wave and they truly went above and beyond. The studio apartments are also very reasonably priced, especially when you consider the fantastic, unbeatable location! We'd certainly book another stay with MirO Studio Apartments as well as recommend them to anyone visiting Dubrovnik that is looking for a well equipped, comfortable and stylish apartment in a fantastic location!
