A trip to San Francisco would not be complete without visiting “The Crookedest Street in the World”. Lombard Street is famous for its eight tight hairpin turns which occur in a single, steep block. I loved the beautiful, colourful houses, perfectly manicured streets and gorgeous city views!
The simplest way to reach Lombard Street is by catching the touristy Powell-Hyde cable car, which stops at the top of the Lombard Street block.
Take the time to wander up or down (or both) sides of Lombard Street! Amazing views, beautiful gardens, incredible architectural houses and insane twists and turns for you to watch cars try and navigate.
Don’t miss a visit to the beautiful, unique Lombard Street on your visit to San Francisco!
