Windfalls Boutique Hotel is a stunning, romantic hotel situated in the heart of England’s West Sussex countryside on the Crabbet Park Estate. This family run, luxurious hotel is the perfect choice whether you are planning on staying for a week long holiday, a overnight business trip, a romantic weekend away, honeymoon or simply transiting through nearby Gatwick Airport. A stay at Windfalls is not just a night in a hotel, it is a luxury travel experience that will leave you feeling pampered, relaxed and rejuvenated.
Windfalls is ideally located in Crabbet Park, Worth, West Sussex. It offers free parking, is close to Gatwick Airport and is also only a short 5 minute drive from Three Bridges Station (the closest train station), providing access to regular trains which take you straight to London Victoria. Windfalls close proximity to Gatwick Airport enables you the opportunity to truly experience the beauty and peaceful nature of the Sussex Countryside whilst staying in a beautiful, intimate Boutique Hotel. From the moment you step through the front doors of Windfalls you are made to feel at home by its lovely owner Margarita Courtenay. Margarita is a true people person and welcomes you with open arms, she goes out of her way to ensure your stay at Windfalls is unique, personal and beyond perfection. Windfalls has only 5 luxury rooms, ensuring you receive exemplary service throughout your entire stay.
The bedrooms at Windfalls are luxurious, romantic and beautifully designed. To say that their beds are the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in would be an understatement (I never wanted to leave!) The incredibly comfortable, large beds along with Siberian Goose down duvets, silk quilts and Egyptian cotton sheets allow you the most peaceful and rejuvenating sleep. The beautifully furnished and decorated rooms are spacious with plenty of cupboard and wardrobe storage, a table and chairs, large flat screen TV’s and Playstation 3. The combination of rain showers, stone bathrooms, toiletries, fluffy bathrobes and Egyptian cotton towels will leave you feeling like a goddess.
The hotel is sleek and contemporary with sophisticated European and Asian tones, furniture and decoration. Tranquil, idyllic music and beautiful fragrances wafting throughout the air set Windfalls beautiful, relaxed and romantic atmosphere. Make sure you take the time to enjoy the comfy sofas in the lounge, complete with an open fireplace or take a walk and enjoy the beautiful gardens and grounds. This is one of the main reasons I adore staying in boutique hotels – they are all different, unique and personal. You are made to feel at home and the design and decor are simple stunning and beautiful, Windfalls is no exception to this. As they perfectly sum up:
“A truly gorgeous boutique hotel, unique and just that little bit different.”
Breakfast at Windfalls is also wonderful and romantic with guests being served at different times throughout the morning ensuring your privacy and enjoyment. Margarita, being a woman of many talents is also the Hotels chef and whips you up a mouthwatering, taste bud tempting feast. The menu is extremely varied with meals ranging from full English breakfast to pancakes, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and creamy mushrooms on ciabatta just to name a few! Tea, coffee, juice, toast, yogurts, muesli, cereal and fruit are also available for you. Dan chose the full English breakfast whilst I chose to dine on muesli, yogurt, fresh fruit and pancakes. The meal and service was faultless, with both of us savouring every last bite of our meals and leaving with very happy, full stomachs! There are also a number of restaurants to chose from in the local area providing you with options for lunch and dinner, all being within walking distance or a short taxi ride. Margarita kindly recommended we visit The Hillside Inn, a friendly, charming gastropub that served some of the best pub food I’ve eaten in England!
I can’t more highly recommend the wonderful Windfalls Boutique Hotel on your next visit to West Sussex/Gatwick Airport and you can use the following contact details to speak to Margarita to find out more or book your stay at this luxurious, romantic boutique hotel.
