We visited the exotic, crazy and beautiful country of Morocco smack bang in the middle of their summer. To say it was hot was an understatement, but we found bliss in the beautiful Riad’s we stayed in, each discreetly hidden away in their own corner of the bustling Medina (and made full use of their swimming pools in the 49° heat) in Marrakech and Fez. Camel trekking into the Sahara Desert and staying in traditional Berber camp sites was a tick off the bucket list for the two of us! Morocco is a land of culture, incredible food, friendly people and paradises found in the most unsuspecting of places.
