Rio de Janeiro is one of the biggest city in the Americas and is a crazy, exciting city of contrasts. From its iconic, stunning Copacabana and Ipanema beaches and tropical rain forests such as Tijuca National Park to its football fanatics, carnival partying to its contrasts between rich, lavish lifestyles and the heartbreaking favelas. We filled our days with adventures up Sugarloaf Mountain to watch one of the best sunsets of my life, hang gliding over the city, visiting Christ the Redeemer, exploring Tijuca National Park, experiencing a football game at Maracana Stadium, basking in the sunshine at Ipanema Beach and sampling many of the local Caipirinha’s. A city bursting with culture, beauty, passion and adventure, Rio truly is an amazing city… somewhere you’ll never forget.
