We visited Brussels for the Christmas Markets last December and spent our days shopping, sight seeing, ice skating, beer touring and pretty much non stop eating!
It was a perfect pre Christmas city break.
We went on a beer tour with Global Enterprises around the city.
FYI Belgian beer is strong!
Feeling sufficiently warm after four hours of beer tasting and bar hopping we ventured outside to check out the Christmas Markets and they were incredible.
I love Christmas!

Once we were sufficiently ice skated out we decided to explore the Christmas Markets by day and the beautiful Grand Place in the centre of the city.
There was so much incredible, mouthwatering food and when they say that the Belgians are some of the best Choclatiers in the world… they aren’t lying!
It’s safe to say we came home a few kilograms heavier!
I LOVE Christmas & Chocolate and Dan loves Beer so Brussels really was the perfect weekend getaway for us! We packed our best carry-on luggage so that we travelled light and had the best weekend in beautiful Brussels.
