Montmartre Residence is located in a beautiful building which dates back to the 1930’s. Its luxurious and elegant style reflects this era, along with Art Deco styling and beautiful hand picked and restored antique furniture that has been individually chosen for each apartment. Montmartre residence houses seven apartments, with studios, one and two bedroom apartments, each of them unique and beautiful.
Located in Montmartre, the artists quarter of Paris allowing you to explore and lose yourself as you discover the beauty of its steep, winding, cobblestoned streets, beautiful, colourful squares, elegant architecture and artistic atmosphere. You will fall in love with Montmartre and feel like a true local in your luxurious apartment overlooking the famous Rue des Abbesses, Rue Durantin and Rue Ravignan. Montmartre is bursting with cafes, restaurants, bakeries and small shops and you can easily spend a long time happily wandering the historical, beautiful streets.
Montmartre Residence’ lobby is sleek, luxurious and welcoming. From the moment we booked, throughout our entire stay and until our departure the manager Elodie and her staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were made to feel at home from the very beginning and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We truly received five star service from the lovely, genuine staff at Montmartre Residence and highly recommend them to anyone visiting Paris.
We were shown to our apartment and upon walking in we were blown away! We stepped into the large, bright, luxurious lounge room and immediately fell in love. Our one bedroom apartment was 45 square metres in size and with the average Parisian hotel room being 15 square metres we could not have been happier with our spacious apartment overlooking the streets of beautiful Montmartre.
The apartment features beautiful wooden flooring, soft fluffy rugs and beautiful artworks adorning the walls throughout. The loungerooom boasts a comfortable, luxurious leather lounge, mahogany coffee table, beautiful lighting and a breakfast bar with seating for two. The comfortable lounge was the perfect place to sink into, relax and watch television on the flat screen TV after a big day of sightseeing. The lounge also converts into a bed allowing groups of four to enjoy this apartment. The large windows bask the apartment in sunshine and natural light.
We fell more and more in love with our home away from home in Paris with each moment. Fresh, luxurious, modern and stylish it is an ideal place to relax and enjoy independence and privacy in this incredible city. The beautiful, stylish décor and plants bring further life and colour to the apartment and each piece of furniture is an antique that has been hand picked by the family for each room. It is evident a lot of detail, thought and passion has been put into the design, decor and styling of these apartments.
The kitchen is spacious, modern and well stocked. Everything you could want or need to whip up a master chef worthy meal during your stay is supplied. The drawers are stocked with modern utensils, along with good quality crockery and glasses. The kitchen also contains a good sized fridge freezer, oven, toaster, kettle, microwave and washing machine. In addition there is also a Nespresso coffee machine and traditional filter coffee machine which will keep all the coffee lovers very happy! We were impressed with how well stocked, contemporary and clean the kitchen was and spent a few of our nights in Paris cooking up a feast using ingredients purchased from the small shops in the streets surrounding the apartment.
The bathroom was very clean, modern, sleek and stylish. The styling of the bathroom is very contemporary and it features beautiful granite tiling and new fittings. All aspects of the bathrooms décor combine together perfectly, leaving you with a modern, luxurious bathroom. Free luxury toiletries are included, the high quality towels were soft & fluffy and luxurious ‘his & hers’ bathrobes and slippers are also provided along with a hair dryer.
Wandering down the hallway to the bedroom, we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the bedroom! Decorated with hand picked antique pieces, luxurious bedding and neutral tones, it really is the perfect place to wind down of an evening. We slept perfectly in the soft, luxurious, high quality linen and dream worthy mattress. The room is also equipped with mirrors, a desk, lamps and wardrobes with plenty of space to unpack! The windows let in lovely natural light throughout the day, with the lighting in the room perfectly brightening up the room at night.
In addition the apartment has free Wi-Fi, a lift, air conditioning and double glazing which ensured our comfort at all times, a telephone, free weekly servicing (cleaning and linen) of the apartment and a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Everything you could possibly want or need for your stay has been provided and we felt at home immediately. The apartment was very secure and we felt safe at all times in the area.
Montmartre Residence is ideally located and is a perfect location to visit all the major sights and landmarks of Paris. The Basilicia of the Sacre Coeur and the iconic Place du Tertre are within walking distance and the Abbesses metro station is only a few minutes walk from the apartments allowing you easy access to all Paris has to offer, including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and Louvre to name a few!
I couldn’t recommend Montmarte Residence more highly for anyone visiting Paris. Our elegant, luxurious and spacious apartment felt like our home away from home throughout our stay and we truly got to live like a local. The apartments are comfortable, luxurious and everything you could possibly need is provided for you, and the staff are warm, friendly and willing to assist you in anyway possible.
