Switzerland is without doubt one of the most natural, breathtakingly beautiful countries in the world. We spent our second anniversary exploring this gorgeous country in November and were lucky enough to arrive for the first heavy snowfall of the season! We absolutely fell in love with Grindelwald and the Jungfrau region, visited the Jungfraujoch Top of Europe attraction and ate our weight in cheese fondue and chocolate whilst exploring beautiful lakeside Lucerne. This is a collection of our favourite photos from our Swiss adventures in the Alps and beyond.
Grindelwald was the ultimate winter wonderland…
We were sad to leave Grindelwald, but had the most scenic journey to Lucerne through the mountains.
We arrived in Lucerne for a beautiful sunset and a dinner of endless cheese fondue. So much so that I ended up in a cheese coma…
Grindelwald was a winter wonderland and Lucerne was a fairytale village! Europe has the most magical towns and villages and Lucerne is one of the most beautiful. This fairytale village has Lake Lucerne lapping at it and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
Switzerland is truly one of the most naturally beautiful countries we have ever visited and we are so excited to visit again!
