We recently had the pleasure of experiencing a luxurious stay at Beaufort House in exclusive Knightsbridge in London. Beaufort House is comprised of 20 individually designed apartments and is located in Beaufort Gardens on a quiet, beautiful tree-lined Regency terraced street. The 20 apartments at Beaufort House are all individually designed and range from one bedroom to four bedroom deluxe apartments. These incredible five star apartments have achieved a well deserved Gold Award from Visit England for their exceptional quality of accommodation and excellent levels of customer service. We had an incredible weekend at Beaufort House and fell in love with their elegant, luxurious apartments which quickly became our home away from home in London.
We were warmly welcomed by the lovely receptionists when we arrived at Beaufort House who promptly checked us in and ushered us upstairs to our apartment. The service was exemplary and the staff went above and beyond throughout our stay to ensure it was perfect.
We were incredibly impressed from the moment we stepped out of the lift and through our front door. Our initial impression was how lavish, spacious and elegant our three bedroom split level apartment was and we set about exploring immediately. We loved the beautiful marble tiles throughout, plush carpets, high quality furnishings and beautiful, warm decor. We instantly fell in love with our luxurious Beaufort House Apartment and felt at home immediately.
We loved relaxing in the privacy and comfort of our lounge room which was a spacious, beautiful and relaxing living area. The two large windows allowed wonderful natural light into the room and we loved the warm decor which was complimented with gorgeous, deep purple curtains, a fireplace, elegant chandelier and beautiful mahogany furniture. The two lounges were wonderfully soft and comfortable and the perfect place to relax and watch television of an evening. The room also had a flat screen television and DVD player, and there is a extensive collection of movies at reception which you can borrow to enjoy during your stay.
The lounge contained a beautiful mahogany desk which guests who are travelling on business will appreciate. The apartment also had complimentary wireless internet throughout which worked perfectly throughout our entire stay and provided an excellent high speed connection. There is also a guest PC in the reception area which has internet access and printing facilities for guests who may not be travelling with their own computer.
We loved that our apartment had a separate dining room! The room was elegant with rich mahogany furniture, a gorgeous chandelier and beautiful furnishings and decor. We thoroughly enjoyed dining there for many of our meals during our stay and certainly made the most of the room.
Each apartment at Beaufort House comes with a fully fitted kitchen that is modern and fully equipped with a complete range of cooking equipment, utensils, cutlery, crockery, glassware as well as fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob and washer/dryer. We love staying in serviced apartments when we travel and love the flexibility to be able cook our own meals. Our kitchen was spacious, stylish and a pleasure to cook in! We also loved that our kitchen window provided views across to the beautiful lit up rooftops of Harrods each evening.
Our kitchen was also equipped with a Nespresso machine, coffee pods and a wonderful complimentary Welcome Basket with teas, biscuits, jams, cereals, coffee as well as a loaf of Marks & Spencer’s bread and fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge. The welcome basket was a great touch which we really appreciated and allowed our our first morning in the apartment to be lovely and relaxed as everything we needed was provided for us!
Our beautiful apartment could comfortable sleep five people in three bedrooms. Our apartment was located on the top floor which ensured our views stretched far across the bustling city of London.
Our master bedroom was spacious, luxurious and had a wonderfully comfortable king-sized bed, desk, plenty of wardrobe storage and an en suite bathroom. We loved the warm colour scheme and thoroughly appreciated the high quality linens and bedding, which ensured we slept soundly after each busy day in London! Our entire apartment was fitted with the best in modern technology which included TV’s in each of the bedrooms which all have a large selection of channels and also iPod connectors in each bedroom which was a wonderful touch! Each of the bedrooms is also equipped with air conditioning units.
Our en suite was modern, clean and stylish and we were impressed with the extensive selection of indulgent Molton Brown toiletries which were replenished each day when our room was serviced. The en suite contained a second toilet and a shower which had excellent water pressure and was piping hot! There was plenty of soft, luxurious, fluffy towels provided along with very soft, wonderful bathrobes and slippers in each of the bedrooms!
The second and third bedrooms in our apartment had a double bed and single bed respectively and were decorated with the same beautiful, warm decor throughout. Our third room also had a lovely balcony which was a wonderful, quiet spot to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning sunshine whilst admiring the views of London. All our rooms had wonderful large windows which allowed natural light into the rooms and also had excellent blinds for an evening which kept the city light and bright morning sun blocked out when we wanted to sleep.
Our deluxe main bathroom was beautifully tiled & modern. It was spotlessly clean and well stocked with towels, Molton Brown toiletries and featured a wonderful deep bath with shower overhead.
We love staying in apartments when we travel but often find that rather than a daily maid service it is more often than not a weekly cleaning service, but at Beaufort House the apartments are serviced daily by a maid service and towels and linens are changed on a daily basis. Services such as this demonstrate why Beaufort House is well deserving of their five stars.
We found the guest services team at Beaufort Gardens to be exemplary throughout our entire stay. The lovely receptionists were friendly, warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were also more than willing to assist with any queries, ticket bookings and restaurant bookings etc. It was very evident that the staff at Beaufort Gardens pride themselves on offering a very personalised service and that guest satisfaction is of the highest priority. We appreciated the 24 hour concierge knowing that we could call on guest services at any time for assistance.
Guests at Beaufort House also have complimentary access to nearby Aquilla’s Health and Fitness Club throughout their stay. Aquilla’s is only a few minutes walk away and offers a swimming pool, gym and aerobics studio, with treatments also available. Unfortunately our schedule was too busy to schedule in a visit to Aquilla’s but it looked like a very exclusive, modern and well equipped health club.
Our location in Beaufort Gardens was unbeatable. The quiet tree-lined Regency terraced street is located in the heart of beautiful, exclusive Knightsbridge and is an ideal location to easily access many of London’s most popular attractions. We were only a short walk from both South Kensington and Knightsbridge tube stations and moments from the world-famous Harrods department store which is literally a few minutes walk away. We were also only a short walk away from the Natural History Museum, the Victoria & Albert Museum, Royal Albert Hall and also within walking distance of iconic London sights such as Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace
We absolutely loved our stay at Beaufort Gardens and will fondly remember it as our “home away from home” in London. Knightsbridge is such an elegant neighbourhood and we truly could not have chosen a more luxurious and elegant place to stay. We loved the privacy and independence our apartment offered and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an incredible five star serviced apartment in London, we will certainly stay there again on future trips!
