Central Apartments Tour As are a company in Ljubljana which manage over 40 apartments throughout the city in various locations through the old town, the city centre and in its immediate vicinity. They have a wide range of apartments ranging from Studio apartments to one, two and three bedroom apartments all with fully equipped kitchens and offer you a comfortable stay and the opportunity to experience Ljubljana as the locals do! We love staying in apartments when we travel as we love the freedom and privacy it offers along with the chance to cook for ourselves, have separate living and sleeping areas and experience a new destination as a local!
We were staying in Apartment Mika, a beautiful modern apartment situated on the outskirts of the old town. It is located on the first floor of an apartment building without an elevator, which we didn’t find to be a problem as it was only one flight of stairs. It was only a short ten minute walk along the beautiful Ljubljana River into the centre of the city and all the main sites including Preseren square and Three Bridges. There was also a well equipped supermarket only a block away which was fantastic as we were looking forward to cooking for ourselves for once!
Our one bedroom apartment was very modern, elegantly styled and extremely comfortable. It instantly felt like home and we happily said that we could both live in Ljubljana and in this apartment it was so fantastic. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and everything was very thought out especially as there was a big folder filled with instructions that has been translated into English along with local information, maps and guides.
Our living room had a comfortable lounge which also can be turned into a bed, a LCD TV, desk and a private balcony with outdoor furniture. The apartment also had free wireless internet access which worked perfectly, along with heating and air conditioning, an iron and ironing board and a telephone.
From our living room there was an entrance to a modern, fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. Our kitchen was fitted with a glass-ceramic stove, an oven, fridge and freezer and all the necessary cooking utensils, cutlery and household appliances. It was a beautiful, brand new kitchen that was great to cook in and everything we could possibly want or needed was provided for us.
Our bedroom had a comfortable king sized double bed, wardrobe storage space and plenty of spare blankets and pillows if we needed. Our modern bathroom also had a shower, toilet, sink and washing machine along with towels and toiletries which we really appreciated.
We absolutely loved our stay in Mika Apartment in Ljubljana, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable, cosy and elegant and we loved how quickly it felt like home! We love staying in apartments when we travel and love living like locals in a new city. Central Apartments Tour As were absolutely fantastic and could not have been any more friendly and helpful from the moment we booked until we arrived, throughout our stay and until we left. Their apartments are very reasonably priced and we would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Ljubljana looking for an apartment. We fell in love with Slovenia and can’t wait to return to Ljubljana and will certainly book one of their apartments again.
