We’re currently travelling through the Balkans on a fairly tight and busy schedule and we really like to fit as much in as possible in each destination. When it came time to travel from Budva to Sarajevo we were a little stuck as there was very limited public transport options and they were very, very long journeys which would take up a lot of our precious travel time. As we were researching all our options we discovered Kiwitaxi, a company that offers private transfers all over the world and much to our surprise and delight offered transfers in Montenegro and transfers in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as taxis in Budva! The booking process was smooth, quick and simple and the transfer was comfortable and affordable as well as saving us a lot of time!

The booking process with Kiwitaxi for our Budva to Sarajevo transfer could not have been more simple and easy! We simply had to visit Kiwitaxi’s website and enter our pick up destination of Budva and drop off destination of Sarajevo. We then selected the class of transfer we wanted which was ‘Comfort’ before entering the exact address details along with our contact information. We then had to select our payment option and you have two option: pay up front or pay in part and then pay the rest on pick up.Within minutes of submitting our transfer request we received a confirmation email with all the details of our booking.
On the day of our transfer our driver was waiting for us at the booked time and place which was our hotel in Budva. He was very friendly and helpful and quickly whisked away our luggage into the car and ensured we were comfortable in the taxi.
Our transfer took just over five hours including border crossings and it was a beautiful, scenic drive through Montenegro and Bosnia. The taxi was clean and comfortable and our driver was very considerate, always checking to make sure we were happy with the temperature. He was an excellent, safe driver and if any of you have ever driven through Bosnia you will know their roads are pretty terrible and so we were very impressed with his precision driving skills!
Our transfer from Budva to Sarajevo with Kiwitaxi was fantastic and was without a doubt the quickest, easiest and most comfortable way to travel between these two destinations. The price was also very reasonable and given the big distance between these two destinations it was actually not much more expensive than using public transport but was exponentially more comfortable and quick.
