The resort is situated on beautiful grounds with perfectly manicured gardens, a large number of swimming pools and enough recreational and entertainment facilities to keep the whole family occupied throughout your entire holiday. Neptune Hotels is a luxurious holiday resort where everything you could possibly need during your stay is available including rental cars, WiFi, a shopping arcade with hair salon, mini market, ATM and even a doctor’s office! We loved every moment of our time on beautiful Kos at Neptune Hotels and left feeling wonderfully relaxed, full from all the delicious food and happy from a fantastic holiday!
The hotel has stunning grounds with perfectly manicured, magnificent gardens which are a signature feature of the hotel. The grounds are separated into themed areas that are named after Greek and Roman gods which showcase the eye-catching beauty and incredible variety of Mediterranean flora. The flowers and plants which are native to the Mediterranean are very creatively arranged with lighting systems, walkways and courtyards that evoke the spirits of the Greek and Roman gods. From exotic palm trees to shady grapevines to the incredible scent of rosemary and oleander and the gorgeous colours of lemon trees and passion flowers, the beautiful gardens at Neptune Hotel truly set the relaxing, holiday atmosphere!
In addition to the incredible gardens there is also a collection of mythological sculptures placed throughout the hotel’s grounds. Throughout the expansive gardens you find striking sculptures made from old metal into clever interpretations of the gods and heroes of Greek and Roman mythology. Their creator, the renowned German painter and sculptor, Peter Müller has utilised recycled scrap metal to design whimsical creations that appeal to adults and children alike and spark their interest in history and culture. Neptune Hotels invites you on a vacation inspired by the gods and it truly doesn’t get much better than that!
Neptune Hotels has 569 twin rooms, suites and apartments located in separate buildings throughout the grounds which accommodate around 1200 guests. From air conditioning to free Internet access, you will have everything you need for a incredible stay. The terraces and balconies offer sweeping views of the expansive grounds, the ocean and the broad Aegean landscape. Every room, apartment and suite is equipped with a direct-dial phone, adjustable air conditioning, coffee and tea making facilities, a safe, 220V electricity and free Internet access.
We were staying in a Deluxe Twin Room which are located in the bungalows and have recently been completely and tastefully renovated and decorated. Our room was modern, stylish and fresh with modern technology, appliances and conveniences as well as a sea view! Our room also had coffee and tea making facilities, a smart TV, iHome clock radio and Media Hub connectivity panel and a minibar. Our room was stylish, spacious and very comfortable and we slept perfectly the three nights we stayed at the hotel.
We were only a block back from the ocean and had beautiful views of both the hotel grounds and the sea from our balcony which was a perfect place to relax!
Our marble bathroom was modern and stylish with a high pressured rainfall shower with indulgent toiletries, towels and bathrobes provided. The bathroom also contained a hairdryer, scales and make-up mirror.
We also had the opportunity to take a look in one of the stylish Front-Row Executive Apartments which are located directly on the sea and by the Village Pool. They are beautifully furnished and upon arrival you will have a complimentary bottle of wine and assorted sweets which is a lovely welcome! The apartments are spacious with a bedroom and separate lounge/dining room with a modern, fully equipped kitchenette. In addition they have a balcony or terrace with breathtaking pool and sea views. The beautiful apartments are fully equipped with all of the modern appliances and conveniences you’d expect of a five star hotel in addition to a DVD player and coffee and tea making facilities. The air conditioning in the rooms works like a charm which is very necessary during Greek summers and the complimentary Wi-Fi is high speed and offers fantastic connectivity.
The hotel is blessed to be surrounded by untouched natural beauty with an endless white sandy beach on the Aegean Coast with the islands of Kálymnos and Psérimos on the horizon. Guests of the hotel have free of charge access to sun beds, umbrellas, towels, showers and changing rooms on the beach. The beautiful beach has also been certified with the Blue Flag for its clean water! We’d highly recommend taking the time to enjoy a sunset on the beach, it is truly magical!
Neptune Hotels has more pools than any other resort we’ve stayed in during our travels and we were very impressed! There is the Residence Pool, Palace Pool, Village Pool with sea view, Olympic Pool, heated Indoor Pool, Water-treading pool and a Mini Water Land for kids! Your toughest decision on your holiday will be choosing a pool to swim in!

The facilities at the hotel are of the highest quality and include every sport under the sun, kids facilities and an exciting timetable of activities for the whole family! Day activities include a host of classes at the gym and outdoors such as water gymnastics, aerobics and Zumba, soccer, beach volleyball, archery, darts and table tennis. There is no shortage of facilities and activities for the kids with Neptune Kids Adventure Club, Mini water land, kids pools, Kindergarten and even a separate kids dining buffet in the restaurant and disco each evening!
A vacation isn’t complete without culinary pleasures that surprise your taste buds every day. Neptune Hotel provides its guests with half-board rather than all-inclusive buffets in order to offer guests the best variety, balance and quality. The hotel has four elegant restaurants: Neptune, the main restaurant; Proteas offering à la carte gourmet cuisine; Taverna with Greek cuisine; and an Italian Osteria. From international cuisine to Greek specialties to Mediterranean fare Italian style, the hotel offers options for everyone! In addition, the hotel also has eight bars including the lobby, beach, pool, theatre bars which complete the culinary experience at the resort! We loved our dining experiences at the hotel and had both lunch and dinner at Taverna, breakfast each morning in the main restaurant as well as one dinner, and a final dinner at Osteria. The food and service in each of the restaurants was of the highest quality and tasted amazing! Our favourite of all the restaurants was Taverna as we loved the Greek themed restaurant which had incredible cuisine! The only restaurant we didn’t have time to dine in was the beautiful Proteas but did pop in for a little look and it was very stylish and luxurious and would be the perfect place to splurge on a special meal during your stay at the hotel.
As many people know, last year the island of Kos was greatly influenced by the refugee crisis. Today the refugee situation is completely controlled and the island is back to normal but tourism in Kos has suffered a major blow and the island is struggling. Kos was just as beautiful as the other Greek Islands we visited and you wouldn’t even think that the refugee crisis had even happened here, we didn’t see a single refugee the whole time we were on Kos. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to Kos and would highly recommend both the island and the resort to anyone seeking a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing holiday. We loved every moment of our stay at beautiful Neptune Hotel which is truly a relaxing paradise on Kos with absolutely everything you could possibly need to ensure your vacation is perfect available within the resort in addition to staff who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect!
