The luxurious 5 Star Astir of Paros is a deluxe beachfront resort on the beautiful Greek Island of Paros, located only a few minutes from the charming village of Naoussa. Astir of Paros sits among gorgeous tropical gardens with a beautiful hydro massage swimming pool, stunning private beach and magnificent views across the Aegean Sea. Paros is a gorgeous island and was one of our favourite Greek Islands with this hotel being one of the most cosmopolitan resorts on the island.
We were warmly welcomed when we arrived at Astir of Paros and were quickly checked in and shown to our room. Our first impressions of the hotel were fantastic with its beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens, wonderful sea views and beautiful white Greek buildings covered in stunning pink flowers. The reception area was welcoming and there are staff available 24/7 to assist with anything you need during your stay.
We found the staff to be friendly, welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay.
Astir of Paros is located among gorgeous tropical gardens with excellent facilities available for all guests at the hotel. The beautiful hydro massage swimming pool and children’s pool are located next to the hotel’s private beach. The enormous swimming pool is surrounded by tropical palm trees and a sundeck, fully equipped pool bar and sun lounges with gorgeous views over the sandy beach and magnificent Kolymbithres beach and bay with its sparkling blue waters.
The hotel’s facilities also include a tennis court, a 3-hole golf course, sauna, fitness studio, massage rooms, helipad, shuttle bus, art gallery and staff who can assist with the booking of water sports, boat trips, horse riding and excursions around the island!
The rooms have been recently refurbished and are beautifully decorated with minimal, contemporary furnishings, some with beautiful paintings.
Ours had a small artwork above the bed and we felt the only thing that could have made our room better would have been more artwork as the walls felt quite bare.
We were staying in one of the Junior Garden View Suites which was a very spacious, open plan suite with a large bedroom and an adjoining elegant living room. The room contained minimal furnishing of soft beige tints and contemporary decor in natural hues and fine quality fabrics.
In addition all rooms have a fully stocked mini bar, air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a TV and hairdryer. Our room was elegant and wonderfully comfortable, a fantastic place to retire to of an evening after a big day of exploring beautiful Paros!
Our spacious ensuite bathroom was finished in fine Parian marble with luxury toiletries provided.
Our junior suite opened out onto a lovely veranda which overlooked the lush, sweet smelling gardens of the hotel.
Astir of Paros has two fantastic gourmet restaurants, Poseidon which serves Mediterranean & Greek cuisine and Aelos which serves Chinese Gastronomy. There are also two bars, Amphitriti and Nireus which offer delicious snacks and exquisite cocktails in an elegant and relaxing ambience.
Breakfast is served poolside and is a buffet of both cold and hot breakfast items. It was a lovely way to start each day dining on a delicious breakfast feast in the sunshine overlooking the pool, beach and bay in the distance.
We had a brilliant stay at Astir of Paros and it truly made our time on Paros unforgettable. Paros is one of the most beautiful Greek Islands and we couldn’t think of a better place to stay to appreciate all this wonderful island has to offer. The location, views, facilities and staff make Astir of Paros a perfect hotel choice on Paros.
We loved our stay and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Paros!
