We instantly felt welcome and at home at the hotel which is stylish and sophisticated yet comfortable and relaxed. Tharroe of Mykonos combines all the comforts and services of a luxurious boutique hotel with traditional Myconian architecture and attentive personal service within a relaxing atmosphere.

Tharroe of Mykonos’s location at the top of a small hill, yet only 900 metres from the bustling town centre means it has unrivalled views of Mykonos. The hotel offers breathtaking views of the sunset and panoramic views over the Aegean Sea, the iconic Windmills, the surrounding landscapes and Mykonos Town centre.

Tharroe of Mykonos has a fantastic pool and jacuzzi on its terrace with sunbeds and pool towels provided as well as a pool bar! The location of the hotel, on top of a hill and surrounded by stunning scenery means it is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy discreet elegance, charm and privacy! We loved relaxing by the pool, enjoying the sunshine and views away from all of the crowds. Tharroe of Mykonos is truly a haven of relaxation on one of the most vibrant and popular of all the Greek islands!

The hotel’s Barbarossa restaurant was the first in Mykonos to introduce organic products and proudly presents its guests with gourmet Greek Cuisine! Guests can indulge themselves in a wonderful combination of traditional Cycladic recipes, genuine flavours and modern nutritional and healthy trends. We loved the charming decor of the restaurant, the spectacular views and the incredible cuisine which ensures a dining experience at Tharroe of Mykonos will be unforgettable. The hotel also has a bar which offers great cocktails, a very large selection of Greek wines (some organic) and international beers which can be enjoyed over sunset!

The hotel has a spa which offers beauty therapies and well-being treatments in a glamorous and stylish ambience! The Calypso Spa is a magical sanctuary where you can indulge and pamper yourself, leaving behind the stresses of everyday life! In addition the hotel also has a well equipped gym and sauna for use by all guests.

Tharroe of Mykonos has 26 elegant, individually designed rooms and suites available which allow guests to experience the vitality and magical spirit of Mykonos! Each of the rooms and suites are all lovingly styled and elegantly decorated with specially chosen fabrics, furniture, art and decor. The decor is cool and calm which reflects the Aegean Sea which surrounds the island and can be seen from most of the hotel’s rooms and suites.

We were staying in a Standard Double room with an inland view. The room was cosy, elegant and designed in Myconian style. We loved the whitewashed walls, wooden furniture, colourful artwork and modern fabrics which allowed us to feel the multi-cultured character of Mykonos Island. All modern amenities were provided including air-conditioning, DVD player, free wireless internet and minibar with room service also available!

We loved our balcony which offered beautiful views of the Myconian countryside and was the perfect place to enjoy a coffee in the morning!

Our bathroom was modern, spotlessly clean & stylish with a jet shower, hair dryer, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers provided!

Breakfast is served in Barbarossa restaurant and the buffet offers a wonderful choice of Greek cuisine ranging from fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, pastries and cakes to bacon, eggs and other hot breakfast items along with juice, tea and coffee. Dining poolside enjoying the magnificent views from the hotel is a fantastic way to start the day!

Tharroe of Mykonos is famous for having the “best balcony” on the island which offers majestic views across Mykonos town, the iconic Windmills, neighbouring islands and the stunning Aegean Sea. One of the highlights of our stay on Mykonos was enjoying the spectacular sunset from the hotel each evening of our stay. We’re convinced that Tharroe of Mykonos has the best view of the sunset from the best balcony on the island and watching the sunset with a glass of local red wine in hand was an experience we’ll never forget.

Mykonos is the perfect destination for summer holidays and there is truly something for everyone! With long, sandy beaches, water sports, a busy night-life, historical sites, traditional taverns, upscale restaurants, luxury hotels, charming villages and shopping areas just to name a few! Tharroe of Mykonos is ideally located above Mykonos Town and offers which we believe are the best views in all of Mykonos! The hotel is only a short stroll down to the iconic Windmills of Mykonos, Little Venice and Mykonos Town centre! The hotel is also close to many of the famous beaches on Mykonos with a bus stop just outside the main entrance of the hotel along with free parking which is a premium on the island!

We loved our stay on Mykonos at Tharroe of Mykonos and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the island! The hotel had families, groups of friends, couples, honeymooners and professionals all staying there during our stay, meaning it is ideal for all travellers! We’d love to return to the Greek islands one day and would certainly return to the beautiful Tharroe of Mykonos in a heart beat.
