Afternoon tea is one of my favourite dining experiences. It really doesn’t get much better than a light meal of delicate sandwiches, cakes, pastries and scones with clotted cream and jam. Afternoon tea became popular in the 19th century in the UK and Cambridge is an afternoon tea hot spot! It’s impossible to visit Cambridge and not enjoy a traditional afternoon tea which is part of the city’s culture! There are so many amazing cafes and restaurants in Cambridge and here are 10 of our top picks for afternoon tea.
THE TAMBURLAINE HOTEL
