We’re founded up five destinations that are perfect for travel photography and are some of our favourites.
Iceland
Think of Iceland and the first thing that probably springs to mind is freezing temperatures and an abundance of snow. In reality, Iceland is a haven for travel photographers! Iceland is a magical landscape with breathtaking mountain ranges, black sand beaches, active volcanoes, spectacular waterfalls, glaciers and plenty of wildlife opportunities. If you really want to put your photography skills to the test then try to capture the elusive Northern Lights as they fill the sky with breathtaking colours between September and March. I’m sure you will end up like us, with multiple SD cards full of incredible shots!
London
In London you are surrounded by stunning architecture, from Westminster to St Paul’s Cathedral and even more modern pieces such as the Shard or the Gherkin. London also has natural beauty in all of its beautiful parks and the best way to explore this beautiful city is on foot. London also looks great at night, especially when everything is illuminated and sparkling in the (seemingly endless) rain.
Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is a country of diverse beauty. This island paradise is home to endless pristine, palm-fringed beaches, UNESCO world heritage sites, scenic train rides, tea plantations, mouthwateringly good cuisine, world-class hiking, surfing and an amazing variety of wildlife! More and more people are discovering its beauty and charm and it is the perfect destination for honeymooners, families, backpackers, luxury travellers and photographers alike.
Egypt
Egypt is one of the most incredible destinations and a paradise for history lovers. There is thousands of years of history and you’ll constantly have your mind blown with the incredible ancient sites! Egypt is a photographers dream destination and you will quickly fill your camera with shots from the pyramids, Philae Island, Abu Simbel, Karnak Temple and many more, as well as the beauty of life along the Nile.
New Zealand
New Zealand has epic national parks, world-class surfing and skiing, rain-forests, sandy white beaches, wineries, ice-age glaciers, multi-day hikes and adrenaline packed adventures for all! Travelling in New Zealand is an experience you’ll never forget and we can guarantee it will very quickly become one of your favourite destinations. There is breathtakingly beautiful scenery in every direction you look and it is the perfect country to explore in a campervan!
