On our recent trip to Darwin we stayed at the Ramada Zen Quarter in a xx suite. The highlight of our stay at the hotel was without a doubt the pool! The hotel has an enormous infinity pool which overlooks Darwin harbour and was the perfect location for sunrise swim!
The pool was busy of an afternoon/evening but we had an amazing morning on our second day in Darwin and were lucky enough to have the pool to ourselves! Having a toddler means you wake up earlier than most people and Darwin sunrise also wasn’t until around 7am during our stay. We headed to the pool after breakfast around 6:30am and slowly watched the sun rise over Darwin from the pool.
It was without a doubt the best time of the day temperature wise, the pool was a beautiful temperature and we surprisingly had it all to ourselves!
Whilst our apartment was clean and tidy and we did have a nice stay, the next time we visit Darwin we will likely opt to stay in one of the hotels directly on the waterfront for the convenience. The waterfront area was our favourite part of Darwin city and it would make sense to stay in that area next time, especially now that we understand the geography of the city a bit better!
The Ramada xx has to have without a doubt one of the best hotel pools in Darwin. The pool also has to be one of the best spots to watch sunrise in Darwin as well! What was just planned to be a quick morning dip, turned out to be one of the highlights of our time in Darwin.
